At CH2M, we deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the Life Sciences. Our Business Development Director manages business development opportunities focused on Life Sciences within CH2M's Private Sector Business Group. Each day you will work in a collaborative, cross functional team environment to build the Life Sciences group. You should be a self-motivated senior business development professional who can identify sound business opportunities and develop the strategies, tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition and have a desire to grow personally and professionally with each Life Sciences project.
Our Director of Business Development Life Sciences
• Serves as a key member of the management team that sets the company's strategic direction.
• Spearheads business development initiatives focused on Life Sciences Sector that are consistent with CH2M overall strategy.
• Manages multiple business initiatives across the Life Sciences industry.
• Generates revenue and develops strategic partnerships and management.
• Manages complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required.
• Manages selected global company accounts.
• Forms peer-level relationships with top management in client companies.
• Provides business value selling at the top levels of client companies.
• Combines leadership & teamwork to help local sales force capture business opportunities in selected Life Sciences accounts.
• Operates independently within established corporate and sector group guidelines.
• Coordinates where required with the Life Sciences community and ensures the effective coordination and completion of all tenders and proposals.
• Coordinates and leverages relationships internally to develop multi-discipline engineering work across CH2M

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• 15-20 years' experience to include demonstrated successful performance in the development of significant Life Sciences client accounts and top line revenue based upon client service, project team satisfaction, technical quality, schedule, and budget compliance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
• Able to demonstrate an ability to brings strong business relationships with several Life Sciences clients that have the potential to translate into new business
• Ability to demonstrate being well networked within the Life Sciences markets across multiple entities
• Possess previous Life Sciences business development leadership skills, both international and domestic
• Ability to demonstrate successful experience in strategic plan development and execution
