The Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship

The Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship is a four-year program allowing its participants to develop technical skills to maintain coal, gas or nuclear power plants.  This is a great introduction to the energy industry and can lead to prestigious careers in maintenance management or engineering.

The Business Apprenticeship

The Business Apprenticeship focuses on the commercial and non-technical aspects of the Energy industry. This is a good opportunity to develop commercial and communication skills while traveling to various power stations. You might also have an insight into the Central Technical Office or into the Supply Chain Organization depending on your career plans.

The Smart Metering Apprenticeship

Come 2020 every home in the UK will need to be fitted with a Smart Meter so as to increase energy efficiency. This 54-week programme is a good way of developing new skills to be able to one day fit smart meters. All of its participants will contribute to revolutionizing the Energy management.

The Commercial Apprenticeship

The five-year Commercial Apprenticeship is designed to develop academic and practical skills to have a successful start in a commercial career. During the apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to be in touch with EDF Energy commercials while developing high professional and ethical standards.
