- Develop next-generation diffusion / wet etch processes and related semiconductor processing technology as applicable to bipolar device manufacturing
- Maintain and optimize existing process capabilities, in addition to increasing profitability by improving product yield/quality and reducing cycle time and rework
- Create and update technical documentation and work instructions, as well as preparing reports in support of managerial and financial decision-making processes
- Improve technical capability through training/research and work with external and internal suppliers to find best-in-class solutions to process engineering issues
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for the purpose of finalizing process engineering projects focused on improvements and new developments and methods
- Establish safe and friendly work environment by applying defined rules relating to personnel, product, and environmental safety

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science and/or Engineering
- Experience in statistical data analysis and design of experiments
- Proven track record in diffusion / wet etch processes and semiconductor process engineering
- Finely honed problem-solving skills together with strong analytical abilities, determination, and the capacity to overcome setbacks along the way
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit, and the ability to work in a structured and self-directed manner
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
