Role synopsis
The CPFR & Replenishment Analyst will report to the US & Canada Demand and CPFR Manager and manage operational and plan alignment / collaboration for a major Auto Parts Retailer.

This role will collaborate with members of the customer's replenishment and supply chain organizations, develop a thorough understanding of the customer's order fulfilment and logistics operations / processes, and manage supporting growth and efficiency initiatives. In doing so, the CPFR & Replenishment Analyst will effectively align SPU and customers' strategies and play a key role in delivering BP Lubricants retail offer. Additionally, this role will work closely with the CPFR team lead to develop and maintain collaborative forecasting processes and procedures between BP Lubricants and key customers.

The analyst will also pursue Supply Chain savings through optimization of the customer's Castrol inventory, and identification of replenishment process improvements. This role will be required to develop and leverage a comprehensive understanding of customer and Castrol systems, supply chains, and distribution operations.

Key accountabilities

- Provide advanced level of analysis to fine tune replenishment processes to best achieve optimal in-stock levels and inventory levels, while delivering volume targets.
- Provide in-depth replenishment analysis, operational planning, and supply chain management.
- Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for replenishment, order fulfilment, and service to the customer and management of the day-to-day ordering procedures.
- Manage Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators.
- Provide timely, accurate, and proactive issue / exception management; prepare and issue performance reports, communicate root cause and solution recommendations.
- Ensure alignment of customer and BP Lubricants planning and production forecasts.


- Collaborate with the National Account Manager to identify and support growth and efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with Customer Supply Chain team to co-manage replenishment and forecast processes.
- Collaborate with retail category managers to identify distribution and replenishment optimization opportunities.
- Develop collaborative dialogues with peer and senior supply chain associates at the customers; serve as liaison between the customer and the BP Lubricants Operating Unit (OU) support teams.
- Develop collaborative relationships with counterparts in customer's vendor community; as required actively participate in Retail / CPFR User Groups.
- Function as a key S&OP enabler by providing timely and accurate customer replenishment and customer service level inputs into the CPFR processes.
- Work closely with Retail Demand Lead and Retail Demand Analyst to integrate replenishment and Event activity with weekly CPFR forecasting processes. Events should include but not be limited to replenishment policies, pricing activity, new product introduction, product rolls, promotions / feature, etc.
- Work within established forecast collaboration criteria and metrics with specific focus on Forecast Accuracy; at SKU level establish and update inventory objectives at DC and POS level and accountability for customer item level forecasting Advance and O'Reilly.
- Leverage all customer provided data sources and inputs to align end-to-end processes.
- Participate in monthly CPFR reviews with customer business teams, CPFR Manager, customers, and S&OP teams.

Essential Education
-Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, engineering, supply chain, information systems or other related discipline.

Essential experience and job requirements
- Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain operational or business experience
- Experience in supply chain with comprehensive knowledge of operations, demand planning, and forecasting.
- Experience in Retail Supply Chain supporting customer replenishment applications / methodologies such as CPFR and VMI.
- Experience in Retail CPG environment supporting customer sales and category management teams.
- Experience in the following areas is a plus: MRP, DRP, S&OP Processes, Forecasting, Production/Inventory Planning and Scheduling.

Desirable criteria & qualifications
- Previous direct leadership experience with Walmart and/or an Auto Parts customers in a CPFR, Demand Planning, or Logistics related role is desired.
- RILA Retail Supply Chain Certification (RSCC) is desired but not mandatory.
- Documented training and experience with VICS certified CPFR is desired but not mandatory.
