Do you love to travel? And are you the one to lead the implementation of a new standard procurement process and regional procurement organization - region by region in Vestas?
Vestas Global Procurement is looking for an experienced implementation lead with great people skills, and the tools and facilitation skills to manage a lot of stakeholders and drive a transition from A to B.
You will be the key person to ensure the transition and to enable World Class Procurement in Vestas.

Global Procurement/OneProcurement
This role reports through Global Procurement, responsible for managing Vestas spend with external suppliers worldwide. As part of the Vestas strategy and transformation of Global Procurement, we need a strong profile to roll out a new regional structure for procurement and a new standard process for procurement outside Global Procurement.
This role is part of the program OneProcurement set to roll out the standard procurement process and a regional procurement organization region by region in Vestas.

You will be the on-site key person to have the overview and drive the implementation of the new regional structure and standard procurement process in the region. This includes being the go-to person regarding the implementation in the region.

Your responsibility will be to make sure the implementation plan is followed according to plan on-site, to drive key activities in the plan and make sure the on-site implementation team delivers according to plan. As the go-to person for the on-site implementation of the new structure and process your responsibilities will be to:
  • Apply a change management process and tools to support the changes required
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness
  • Lead and drive training programs
  • Drive the implementation in the region
  • Lead implementation team and involve relevant stakeholders in realizing the implementation plan
  • Manage the on-site communications with stakeholders
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics for deployment
  • Identify and manage key stakeholders - and anticipated resistance
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

As Implementation Lead you will act as supporter and coach for the Regional Procurement Head, the Program Manager and Transition and Communication Specialist in the program - helping them fulfill their roles on-site. Furthermore, you will be the face and go-to person for the implementation in the region.

You probably have a master level degree in Business Administration, Technology or similar combined with an exceptional personal drive. You Know how to establish and develop successful relations with your stakeholders, and to ensure that milestones and deliveries are met on time. And you can analyze business pain points and translate that into improvement solutions

Additional information
  • Primary work location is the region where we roll out - the first one is Central Europe and four more to follow.
  • Approximately 120 traveling days per year should be expected as we will be on-site for roll out for some months and then go to the next region for mapping and preparing and rolling out.
  • The position is a project hiring that will run till June 2018, but afterwards you will have excellent opportunities to enter into another position in Vestas.
