The position & experience required
Our business is one of the UK's top 20 energy providers operating at present. We have a reputation second to none in the industry, and we are in the process of expanding our UK network. We are proud to announce the requirement for an experienced sales or account management professional, ideally from within our industry or with direct or relevant industry / sector exposure.
This is a technical account management and sales role. It is not a 'boxed product' sales role. This is a solution / service sale, with the acquisition and export of energy the focus.
Due to the nature of this sector, it is not the standard route to market you may expect. The types of client / customer you will be networking and building relationships with include Developers, Banks, Energy Managers, Legal Practices & Firms, Brokers, Regulatory Bodies, Equity Investors and Lawyers.
A large percentage of our business comes from referrals and recommendations to the above professional disciplines. We require someone who is able to converse with these types of people on a professional, technical and commercial level. This will include face to face meetings, and building a genuine relationship with existing and new clients.
Networking is one of the keys in this industry, and of equal importance is the ability to work internally, with multiple teams, often on projects with long time frames and complicated contracts and negotiations.
Assuming you are from the energy industry, or an allied sector with relevant service / solution sales experience, and have experience within B2B or corporate, then you may well have the experience we require for this appointment within a very successful team.
