Subsea Pipeline Engineer

Wood has an immediate requirement for a Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malysia. The team specialises in subsea engineering and provides engineering consultant services across multiple projects and employs technical expertise in the areas of project management, subsea hardware, controls / distribution, flow assurance, pipelines, risers and facilities engineering. Achieving project completion to the project specifications on schedule Being accountable for the quality of subsea pipeline designrelated deliverables Providing sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline Take personal responsibility for quality of work carried out. Readiness to question / challenge engineering methodologies Client contact such as meeting attendance or secondments Report preparation under supervision of Senior Engineer / Project Manager Demonstrates understanding and application of engineering fundamentals to projects activities Ability to work without close supervision, but availing of support from experienced personnel in complex circumstances Some individual responsibility or autonomy Some client contact including secondment as engineering analyst to client offices Take lead engineering role in some smaller Projects Understand what is required by a client and why Interpret a scope of work and understand how it is applied to the analysis of a given Project. Be able to evaluate proposed scope of work/set of analyses and identify any gaps that might be relevant.
