PROJECT ENGINEER
Job Description •To study contract document and keep records.•To prepare job instruction & project specific procedures.•To arrange / attend engineering key meetings.•To prepare project master schedule with the help of Project Planning Department and control project activities accordingly. •To prepare and measure the target progress and the actual project progress. To monitor the progress and to take corrective action wherever required.•Preparation of Billing Schedules & invoicing to Client.•To arrange / attend interdepartmental meetings, meetings with client, meetings with vendors, site meetings and take appropriate action.•Prepare and monitor department wise pending point list, on weekly basis for controlling design inputs and monitor overall project schedule.•To prepare project budget and project cash flow and update it periodically for effective cost control.•To assess the effects on cost, schedule and man hours prior to issue of ERI depending upon the status of work affected by ERI.•To maintain the records of ERI and all related documents on the basis of which a decision regarding design change is taken.•To maintain the record of change requests, raise Change Notices, Change Proposals and Finalize Change Orders with Client.•To raise invoice for extra claims, follow up with customer for the settlement and payment.•To co-ordinate POP activities with the customer, licensor, vendors, all TEIL in house departments, as applicable, sub-contractors and site for timely completion of project.•To submit final documents and drawings as per contract terms to the customer.•To ensure mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning (as per contract) are achieved as per contractual requirements and obtain mechanical completion certificate and plant acceptance from the customer.•To prepare Project Close out report.•To review Enquiry, GTC, STC Bid Evaluation for Requisitions / Contract / Subcontract and approve the recommended vendor/Contractor/Subcontractor. Participate in all Negotiations.•Review and approval of overall construction schedule of subcontractor derived from TEIL’s Master construction schedule.•ESDR follow up / RUP follow up with vendor and insurance claim. •Coordination with Logistics department for custom clearance of imported goods.•Coordination with RCM / Construction Division regarding site matters.•Maintain a consolidated list of short supplied items / replacement items for each requisition / POs.•Get the total listing of vendor documents from the selected vendor(s) for each requisition / PO in which vendor review is involved and later maintain the updated status of VDR.•Making Extension of Time (EOT) request and taking up with Client for finalization.•Keeping records of Owner delaying inputs, Milestones Receipt of Free Issue Items / Materials (FIM), Documents related to Force Majeure and keeping track of Completion activities which are specifically required to be completed before receiving Owner's Inputs / FIM etc.
