Project Development Manager - Solar

Location: Berlin





The client is a rapidly expanding company in the European market for large-scale solar energy. Currently, we have operations in Poland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Romania, the Netherlands, and Germany. Given the company's dynamic growth, we are seeking individuals for a project development manager





Responsibilities





As the Senior Development Manager, your role involves overseeing all project activities within our portfolio. You lead a team of developers and are responsible for managing the entire project portfolio. You will assess projects and determine which ones the team will advance.





- Your responsibilities include directing the overall project management for the group and leading the developer team.


- You will independently negotiate with landowners, communities, partners, and competitors.


- Ensuring the achievement of defined project goals, particularly in terms of time management, budget, and quality, falls under your purview.


- You are accountable for organising and conducting regular project meetings and overseeing the execution of major projects. Additionally, you will implement risk management strategies and develop measures to mitigate risks.





Qualification





- Completed studies in engineering (e.g., civil engineering or industrial engineering) with a successful track record.


- Extensive experience in project management or site management within large-scale power plant construction projects in Germany.


- Demonstrated capability in team leadership.


- Readiness for travel, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.


- Methodical and collaborative approach to work.


- Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of other European is advantageous.
