Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit several engineers to support the maintenance and control operations of a leading airline based in Heathrow.

The focus of the position will be to provide technical knowledge and support for engineering maintenance activities for the entirety of the fleet both on ground and in the air.

About the role:

  • Manage and coordinate daily maintenance operations by providing logistic, engineering, or technical support.
  • Respond to ad hoc maintenance situations ensuring that tooling, resources, and engineering support is available.
  • Act as the first point of contact for flight crew in response to issues and queries.
  • Recovery of AOG and managing the logistics for the return of the aircraft.

Experience Required:

  • The ideal candidate will originate either from a hands-on licenced engineer background or an engineer already working in the technical support function.
  • Experience responding to ad-hoc maintenance issues and able to demonstrate considerable aviation knowledge and experience to resolve these issues in a timely manner.
  • Ideally have experience in planning of maintenance, including the tooling, resources, and the engineering personnel required.

Maintrol is a 24/7-hour, 365-day operation. So, the successful candidate will be required to work on a shift pattern comprising of Earlies (06:00 - 14:00), Lates (14:00 - 22:00), and Nights (22:00 - 06:00).
