Xtreme Manufacturing is seeking qualified candidates for our Assembly Technician position.
This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. We offer competitive pay and benefits, as well as opportunity to develop and grow with the company.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling parts for our telescopic handler, forklift and delivery truck lines of equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Pre-assemble and install parts including axles, hydraulic components, radiators, bearings, hoses, wiring, tires, engines and cabs.
- Rework, repair and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
- Read and interpret assembly blueprints.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop.
- Perform other duties as assignment by management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in auto repair, heavy construction equipment repair or vehicle assembly strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
- Ability to read electric and hydraulic schematics preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English.
- Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Steel-toed safety boots required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- For Full-Time employees, expect to work a 10-hour shift on average, including overtime if necessary.
- Reliably commute to Henderson, Nevada, or planning to relocate to local area before starting work.
- Comply with the brand and hygiene policies.
