Tasks As an Application Engineer - 3D Printing of Optics, you'll play a vital role in advancing our Xolography technology. This is a entry-level, hands-on role where you'll be deeply involved in 3D printing processes, from initial setup to post-processing and refinement. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and refining optical 3D printing applications tailored to customer-specific needs. Collaborating with customers, researchers, sales, and customer success teams to drive innovative solutions. Engaging with our clients, particularly within the scientific community, to demonstrate and develop the benefits of our technology. Support our Sales team and business development efforts. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers, understanding their unique needs, capabilities, and how our technology can be utilized together to meet goals. Collaborating with our scientists to develop and enhance our processes, materials, printing setups, and post-processing techniques. Playing a key role in market analysis and development of new product offerings. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our 3D printing processes and techniques. Requirements You are a bright, inquisitive individual, eager to dive into the tech industry and make a significant impact. We are looking for: Experience in 3D Printing Process Development: Previous knowledge in multiple 3D printing technologies and process development. Ideally for resin-based printers. Interest in Material Development: Basic understandig of chemistry, polymers and printing process fine-tuning. Understanding of Optics: A solid understanding of optics, with a passion for optical applications in 3D printing. Previous experience in this field is highly valued. Educational Background: An academic or practical background in optics, engineering, natural science, or material science. Persistence: The ability to challenge existing processes and persistently seek better results. Communication Skills: Good communication skills to effectively discuss and collaborate with stakeholders. Collaborative Spirit: A keen interest in working within a diverse team full of bright individuals who share the passion to change the world. Proficiency in English: Additional languages are a plus.
