Do you want to shape the future for green energy? Do you want to be part of building Vestas new Design Centre? Are you interested in developing top-notch software responsible for controlling and operating new wind turbine solutions? Then you might be the right candidate for the position as Software Engineer.

Control Engineering is a part of Vestas Power Solutions and we are responsible for software solutions to all Vestas turbines. As R&D Software Engineer you will be a part this department and a key part of its success.

Vestas Power Solutions is the cornerstone of Vestas. Through innovation, development and continuous product improvement we develop the products and technologies that reduce the cost of energy and bring the highest possible value to our customers and to Vestas. To put it short: Vestas Power Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future.

Within Control Engineering the Plant Radar Systems department provides products and solutions based on radar technology including InteliLight®, an active aviation light management solution for wind turbines. Using radars with a minimum range of eight kilometers, InteliLight® is an expanded product solution that scans a wind park's surrounding areas. If an approaching airplane is detected, its distance, speed, and heading are tracked and aviation lights are activated only when needed. If activated, the lights are switched off once the aircraft has cleared the necessary designated space. Combining aircraft detection and aviation light control, the system provides end-to-end aviation safety for wind parks.
