The Exploration and Petroleum Technology networks are looking for graduates within the geology, geophysics, petrophysics and data science disciplines in different operational assets, support teams and research.

Graduates in Statoil will have a steep learning curve, and you are expected to develop an overall understanding of our activities and business challenges.

We are offering positions in the following locations: Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Harstad, Trondheim, London, Rio de Janeiro, Calgary. Your exact assignment and location will be decided on the basis of your field of expertise, our business needs and your interests.

Geological, Geophysical and petrophysical evaluations
Basin, Play & Petroleum System Analysis
Prospect Evaluation & Maturation
Well Planning
Reservoir evaluation, characterization and modelling
Technology development and implementation

Qualifications Master's degree or PhD with good academic record within geology, geophysics, petrophysics and data science disciplines
No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience (for UK based positions: no more than three years of experience)
Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
International work and/or study experience preferred
Extra curriculum activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
