Are you an experienced Analyst with a great eye for detail? Youll be given the opportunity to work with complex data across multiple sources and have visibility of the full working cycle.
Within our Domestic Business youll be joining our Systems and Data team who support npowers Back Office and are responsible for all financial reporting across the Domestic Business, deliver financial analysis across the Debt and credit books and also support Root Cause Analysis, Governance and Audit.
Role description
As a Senior Financial Analyst youll be analysing trends from large and varied data sets, predominantly from our Debt and Credit books which contain circa 4.5 million records. Youll be cross referencing this against other data sets to ensure the data is accurate and aligned so our processes can run smoothly across Back Office which ultimately affects the wider business. Youll also be involved with Root Cause analysis which will vary depending on the audiences requirements, from something quite basic to a detailed report providing value-add insight which will be captured and put into a presentation pack for our Senior Management Team.
Skills and experience
Proven analytical experience
Great attention to detail with the ability to identify trends and interpret large sets of data
Be proactive in your approach with the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise
Advanced Excel and Intermediate Access experience
Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to present to your stakeholders concisely
Stakeholder management
It would be nice if you also had:
Experience of using SAP
Experience within the Energy Industry
