The purpose of the Operations Technician I - Measurement entry level position is to verify product quality on all NGL's utilizing the minimum NGL sampling requirement protocol at the facility. Provide increased support and efficiency for the operations group through product integrity, customer service, and commercial driven demands for the business.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
o Achieve compliance and safety goals, participate in a proactive safety effort.
o Maintain product quality by obtaining, analyzing and interpreting a wide range of NGL product tests.
o Ensure high reliability of equipment and systems.
o Collaborate with operational groups to improve plant performance.

    What are Technical Qualifications, Education and Experience requirements to perform this role? (include specialized equipment knowledge, professional designations, etc.)
    o A degree in a technical field or business is desired however equivalent work experience will be considered and weighed accordingly. Prior experience in a relevant technical field in the area of responsibility preferred.
    o Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
    o Ability to positively interface with fellow employees in sharing a common vision.
    o Competent in understanding, implementing WES policies, procedures, regulatory compliance.
    o Be effective in identifying and resolving issues.
    o Good communication skills are required
    o Experience with energy industry asset operations
    o General computer skills
    o Knowledge of product characteristics and physical properties
    o Knowledge of the Underground Storage process and associated sub processes

    o Operations: Communicate with local operations on daily pipeline movements and product sample results.
    o Commercial: Provide operational insight relative to truck and rail business.
    o External customers: Communicate maintenance schedules and down time.
