Role synopsis
  • The primary purpose of the Change Lead role is to drive the identification and execution of all GBSE activities needed for a successful implementation of all parts of the GSD Programme of Work in close cooperation with local country teams in order to deliver the various GSD programme phases in time, in quality and on plan. The Change Lead also independently needs to identify and manage the process changes and implementations in all process are in the four Service Centres, this includes opportunities for business and process simplification, the assurance that all controls are in place in the GSD template design and all processes are legal and tax complaint.
  • The Change Lead has a direct reporting line to the Head of Business Design and Deployment and is leading a team of Process and Data experts spread across the four Service Centres.( one captive centre and three BPO partner centres.)
  • The Change Lead needs to manage key stakeholders relationships with the Head of GBSE, the GBSE LT and ELC, the Transformation Leads in each Service Centre, the business management teams in country as well as the management of the GSD Project Team.
  • The GBSE GSD Change Lead is also responsible for providing coaching on the required Change Management actions necessary for a successful SAP implementation.
  • The GBSE GSD Change Lead role is created for a fixed period of time that is aligned with the timeline of the overall GSD (Global SAP Deployment Programme of Work).

Key accountabilities
  • Drive the execution of GBSE activities in close cooperation with the other BPO partner centres and with local country teams in order to deliver to the timeline and plan of the subsequent GSD Releases (e.g. analysis workshops and deep dives, execution of business readiness plans, definition of business change projects, and others.)
  • Drive the business utilization and benefits realization of the GSD template across GBSE.
  • Build efficient relationship with the management in GBSE (including BPO Management), daily operations teams in the GBSE, the GSD Design Team during releases, and the respective country Leadership teams.
  • Managing Stakeholder relationships at all levels with the BPO organisation, within GBSE and with in-country business teams.
  • The incumbent is also required to influence stakeholders at all levels in the various internal and external organisation to achieve Business Readiness for a successful GSD Go Live.
  • Business Readiness requires that all actions and changes have been implemented, all necessary decisions have been identified, taken, and acted upon.
  • Facility und run Country Implementation Forum Meetings and ensure timely action closure.
  • Represent GBSE in various Governance Meetings: local Country Implementation Forum (CIF) Meetings, Deployment Steering Group (DSG) meeting, Represent Business Requirements in O2C and Customer Service Workshops.
  • Lead the GBSE GSD Project Team and drive individuals performance by setting the right prioritie sand escalating issues, identifying actions to mitigate riks and ensure delvery of actions.
  • Provide Leadership and Coaching to the direct reports in the GBSE GSD Projct Team.
  • Ensure alignment within the GBSE organization wtih the overall ESA transformation agenda and other Change and Transformation Projects running within GBSE.
  • In each project phase, ensure that exit criteria for the ELS (Early Life Support) phase are met, that the support structure is established and GBSE processes can go into stable operations with appropriate „Sustain"Support.
  • Able to flag, escalate and solve more complex issues and contributes to or lead root cause analysis, ensure that delivery risks are identified, documented and managed.
  • Apply and use Project Management tools: Project Plan with a 9 - 18 month view, Resource plan, Action tracker) for all GSD driven GBSE activities while using Continuous Improvement methodology.
  • Plan the necessary resources for all GBSE GSD related activities and coordinate these resources and their activities.
  • Understand and drive the retrofit action plan for the processes supporting GSD Live countries.
  • Accountable for establishing and delivering the GBSE Business Readiness Plan and deeply support all relevant GBSE BRP actions.
  • Ensure master data efficiency and validity for all relevant businesses, lead the relevant data cleansing & quality, mapping and checking from GBSE perspective.
  • Representing the GBSE and business requirements in the cutover planning meetings.
  • Responsible for driving all local GBSE activities in the cutover plan.
  • Lead control checks for relevant processes to ensure no control gap occurs after GSD implementation.
  • Carry out a risk review of the project with relevant GBSE and project stakeholders and use risk planning / risk register to mitigate or manage these risks.
  • Identify and - when applicable - drive Continuous Improvement opportunities
  • Provide regular (monthly or weekly as required) updates to Head of Business Design and Deployment Lead.
  • The incumbents' ability to achieve agreed objectives is key to ensure a successful GSD Go Live on time, in quality and on budget for GBSE.

Essential Education
  • University degree

Essential experience and job requirements

  • 5-7 years of working in a business
  • Experience of working in Service Centre organization
  • Solution or functional/technical expertise in SAP
  • Experience of working in project environment - ideally with knowledge of key project management tools such as planning, risk management and communications

  • Managing projects and related organizational change to ensure optimal use of resources and achieve objectives within schedule and budget. Contributing to the delivery of projects by applying financial control and accounting skills to the project financials and monitoring performance metrics
