Role synopsis
This role will involve the development and support of processes and systems for strategic sourcing.The provision of eSourcing support for users and suppliers Including eAuction and eSourcing initiative and act as a liaison between business partners and suppliers. Manage the RFx process utilizing ARIBA: event set up, messaging board management, scoring and evaluation, response administration.The role includes providing ARIBA user activity and coaching to new users.

Key accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain Sourcing libraries
  • Manage RFX process, including the kick off meeting for Indirect Procurement (IP) and project team
  • Drafting the RFx questionnaire
  • Create the auction strategy
  • Event administration including invite to bid, training and supporting vendors
  • Screening suppliers and selection factors -Compliance to Legal, Financial and HSSE standards
  • Manage administrative event process, including Buyers, Suppliers and approvers
  • Understand systems and processes to manage day to day activities
  • Timely and accurate update of the Case Management systems
  • Develop customer and supplier relationship management skills including regular communication tactics
  • Lead from front to represent IP to the business and suppliers
  • Be willing to learn the business and to be taught the practices of our Procurement Supply Chain Management (PSCM) Academy
  • Take ownership and accountability for assigned workload -Identify issues, problems and opportunities while maintaining effectiveness in a changing environment

Essential Education
Bachelor Degree in any discipline or related field.

Essential experience and job requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in a PSCM environment with a total of 5 - 7 years of working experience, ERP is desirable
  • Experience in working on e-sourcing tools like Ariba for at least 1-2 years (experience in any e-bid or e-tender tools can be considered)
  • Able to work in UK & US shift
  • Intermediary knowledge of strategic sourcing and PCSM concepts
  • Proficient desktop computing experience - an ability to learn PSCM applications including ARIBA, SAP and Salesforce
  • ​Excellent verbal and written plain English skills
  • Proficiency in Office software
