Position Description:
As a recognized company expert in the field of Process Engineering and Facilities Planning, incumbent provides professional advice and guidance regarding processes, equipment or techniques, facility designs and solutions on unusual operating and maintenance problems.

The incumbent will look for ways to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity as well as take responsibility for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions in design through the Unconventional Resources Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices.

The post holder is also responsible to define and manage interfaces with HSE, operation, project execution, subsurface and engineering teams, including process, utilities, electrical, mechanical, rotating, static, control, instrumentation and civil engineering in a multicultural environment.

The successful candidate shall also represent Unconventional Resources in dealings with vendors, manufacturers and design firms where expert engineering advice is required. The incumbent will be also responsible for leading the team to develop a full spectrum Engineering Standards for the Unconventional Resources related to his field. Unconventional Gas experience in is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in engineering. M.S. or PhD in engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirable.

Twenty years of professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in his field of specialty. Incumbent will normally achieved industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations such as ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API, NACE, SEI and others.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a range of duties and responsibilities including:-

Provides expert advice and assistance to the Unconventional Resources, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms.

Creates and carries out process engineering studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical problems, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.

Develops and maintains the Unconventional Resources Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices, Design Manuals or other documentation to enhance company profitability, safety and productivity.

Evaluates and introduces best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the Unconventional Resources to achieve Best in Class positions.

Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services for Unconventional Resources. Acts as the department representative in dealings with vendors and manufacturers relating to his field of experience.

Works on or with Task Forces assigned to investigate incidents or solve specific problems. Performs cost analyses and Value Engineering studies as appropriate. Undertakes special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations.

Conducts seminars in the resolution of technical problems with personnel in other Engineering organizations. Writes papers for peer-reviewed journals on engineering studies and projects he has overseen.
Acts as a professional mentor to less senior specialists and engineers.

Promotes a learning environment and implements self-development to

Support Evaluation of appraisals and technical proposals.

Familiar with development of scoping papers and basis of design.
Has a sound experience in subsurface data gathering and full field development.

Produced Feasibility studies, Basis of Designs, and Basic Design Engineering.
High knowledge of unconventional and shale gas full filed development including design of gathering systems, process facilities, and export pipelines.
