Lead and manage the test activity of his/ her test team, define and control their daily work schedule. Support test projects assuring test resources.

Essential Responsibilities

- Drive his/her test team towards execution of Business Goals following the GE's relevant policies and procedures including safety rules at all the times.
- Lead test technicians, define and control their daily work schedule, assure operational rigour (EHS, productivity, 5S)
- Assure resources availability by managing overtime/holiday
- Plan & coordinate test bay/equipment availability
- Work close together with all levels of Assembly & Test organization (leaders, planners, engineers, quality, assembly and teardown leaders) and with other related functions
- Manage low value purchases (tools, filters, oil, etc.)
- Represent Test organization on production related meetings
- Improve and optimize the standard work processes in Test operations to reduce cycle time and waste.
- Continuously imrpove the performance of his/her test team (Safety, Quality, OTD, Productivity) by using Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing methodology. Bring new ideas and positive support to the current processes
- Train and develop his teams skillset to become cross functioned, and deepen technical knowledge
- Manage and control safety and 5S activities, drive employee suggestions and Kaizen
- Evaluate his/her team, give them regular feedback about their performance
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and statistics for Test Leader
- Occasionally execute Final and Factory Acceptance Tests of LM6000, LM2500 and TM2500 aero-derivative gas-turbine/generator packages and Jenbacher gas-motor containers using appropriate support documentation in schematics, drawings, test procedures, specifications, customer specific instructions and project specific requirements, to keep his operational knowledge up to date


- Technical University or College degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required
- Turbine-generator or power plant operation/ test/ service knowledge or experience, GE LM6000, LM2500 and TM2500+ product experience is an advantage
- Leadership experience is an advantage
- Good English and Hungarian language knowledge is a must, German is an advantage
