As a Product Owner of an Outcomes Optimizing Product for Coal-fired Power Plants one of your primary responsibilities will be to represent the needs and desires of the coal-fired power generation community to an agile delivery team, being the first source of information about the problem domain for the team. Another primary responsibility will be to represent the work of the agile team to this community.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to:
  • Partner with the Scrum master to ensure that scrum methodologies are well understood and followed by the team
  • Partner with the functional partner to remove project roadblocks
  • Work with functional partner to define and prioritize project backlog compliant with the Agile methodology
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications to define product criteria
  • Coordinate program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing road maps and benchmarks
  • Make trade-off decision between possible and desirable, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible
  • Exhibit deep understanding of domain, industry trends and potential impact


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three additional years of experience in a job that prepares you to be a Product Owner
