Job Description
Begin your Co-op career with a leader and gain professional experience while making cutting edge software that helped put the Curiosity Rover on Mars!
The Siemens PLM Strategic Student Program (SSP) is a unique opportunity for undergraduate college students to gain real world working experiences in the growing field of software and digitalization. Our focus is to hire students who want to work most, if not all, of their co-op rotations with an industry leader (main focus is sophomores and pre-junior status). We provide a community and mentoring to prepare you for the working world, world of work, and for regular full time opportunities upon graduation.
Siemens PLM Software is a world-leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software. We help thousands of companies make great products by optimizing their lifecycle processes, from planning and development through manufacturing and support.

We work closely with every one of our customers to deliver the PLM solutions they need to support the critical decisions that go into their products. These solutions are open, to give you the freedom to use and combine whatever tools and information you need. They're complete, so they add value across the entire product lifecycle. And they're more than just technology, because only our people can truly assure your success.

We recognize that building great products has never been more challenging than it is today. Products are getting more complex, as are the processes to build them. We see how complexity is affecting our customers. We see how the pace of product decision-making is increasing faster than the capacity to absorb information. And we have been actively working to address these challenges. That's why, two years ago, we embarked on a new vision called "High-Definition PLM".
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be joining a group of co-ops developing java solutions from conception to production and learning all aspects of software architecture, design, and development.  Our department provides an opportunity to become an expert in many of today's most in-demand technologies: Java, XML, XSLT, database mapping concepts, the Eclipse Rich Application Client framework, and more. We need outstanding students to help develop start-from-scratch Java tools to aid Siemens PLM Software implementation engineers worldwide. These tools will help our services personnel design, implement, and test complex data migration and data mapping problems encountered in PLM implementation projects with major companies around the globe. These tools are developed using the Eclipse IDE for Java developers. Work will be performed on-site at our Milford Ohio location.

Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum GPA of 3.0.
•You must be a US citizen or green card holder.
•Working towards a degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
