We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facility Security Officer with WesDyne International LLC in our Government Programs organization. 

Operating Plants Business (OPB) Providing global field services and instrumentation and control solutions to new and operating plants.

In this position, a Facility Security Officer can expect to be responsible for the following: 
  • Primary advisor to the President of WesDyne and the Government Security Council (GSC) concerning the safeguarding of classified information for WesDyne's government contracts.
  • Managing DOE physical protection requirements for site security areas.
  • Managing and overseeing FOCI mitigation commitments and activities
  • Supporting the implementation of WesDyne Government contracts

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Security or related field or equivalent.
  • 10+ years' technical and operational security experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of DOE and NRC security orders and directives.
  • Ability to successfully complete required FSO training.  Experience with managing personnel security-related elements to include the following:
    • eQip
    • Conducting initial and periodic security briefings, and security terminations.
  • Ability to manage and process security forms (i.e., SF86, SF-312, DOE F 5631.29, DOE F 5631.18).
  • Experience in conducting and managing security education, training and awareness programs, operational security (OPSEC) programs, annual refresher training and foreign travel briefings.
  • Experience in creating and conducting internal security audits and assessments, and participating in/acting as the lead for U.S Government inspections/compliance audits.
  • Ability to identify, investigate, mitigate and resolve areas of non-compliance to include security incidents.
  • Extensive operational experience with access control elements and visitor management (security badges/credentials) systems.
  • Experience with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Approximately 5-10% Travel Expected.
