This new role is responsible for defining and implementing the overall strategy and development of products and services in China for Nuclear New Plants Projects. He/She will Identify and develop opportunities for growth and market share gain. The China Region Director will create a product portfolio strategy for opportunities in greater China.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Establish the vision and strategic plan for NPP products and portfolio in China.
2. Develop deep understanding of customers' needs, as well as values and benefits sought. Prioritizes customer needs and business opportunities.
3. Employ market research, industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, win/loss analysis and price realization in developing global product portfolio and roadmap strategy.
4. Work with a multi-functional team, including NPP Product line Leaders, marketing, sales, and New Plants Engineering to generate technical proposals.
5. Own the product definition, working with key stakeholders to complete necessary market research to build a solid business case and to gain business support for the product plan.
6. Drive effective communication across the region, both internally and externally.
7. Develop key customer relationships at the executive level.
8. Facilitate the development a supply chain strategy in the region for ABWR, ESBWR, and PRISM.
9. Drive operating mechanisms to ensure behavior is consistent with integrity, quality systems, EHS requirements.
10. Serves as a strong tie with customers, design institutes, government agencies, regulatory agencies, universities, global/regional marketing teams and product development teams.
11. Drive the behaviors of a strong nuclear safety culture.


1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Science/Engineering, Business Administration, Medical or related field
2. 5+ years' experience in product development, product marketing, sales, or related field
3. Demonstrated strong analytical and process skills, including market strategic position analyses, NPI business case, project management, etc.
4. Proven influencing skills working in a matrix organization.
5. Experience leading a global and cross-functional project team
6. Excellent oral and written communications skills (English and Chinese)
9. Must be willing to travel, including international travel.

Desired Characteristics

MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
Experience in nuclear and/or Energy Industry
Experience shaping/leading growth vision and product strategy
Deep product management or marketing expertise
Proven ability to work globally and manage a global product.
Mandarin language skill
