Job profile summary:
Responsible for supporting Air BP GSD deployment across all Finance processes.

Job Advert:
This role can either be based from Milton Keynes or Sunbury and will involve up to 50% European travel.
If based in Sunbury you will need to be available to work from Milton Keynes for 2 / 3 days a week for the next 18 months.

Working in Air BP's Global SAP Deployment (GSD) team to deliver the transformation and simplification of business processes and implementation of SAP as part of the GSD programme.

The Finance Analyst is the subject matter expert on Air BP's financial processes. The role, working in a team with 2 other process experts, will act as the interface between local front line business staff and the Air BP Global Design Authority and the GSD Program as appropriate.

By understanding the GSD template, the process expert will help identify and facilitate simplification, standardisation and business readiness in the area of financial processes.

The Finance Implementation Process expert will provide detailed subject matter and business process expertise to the project, ensuring that business requirements are captured in the end state design.

Once the GSD template is implemented, the process expert will help identify opportunities to further improve or optimise business processes through analysing opportunities, capturing business requirements and assessing viability before representing the change at the appropriate change board meeting.
  • Act as a champion for the template between the business and GSD.
  • Maintain relationships with key business stakeholders in relation to the core financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities for standardisation and simplification outside of the standard set of simplification projects. Provide analysis and consultancy to the Air BP business to help identify opportunities to further improve or optimise business processes.
  • Advise the business on changes, simplification and cleansing activities that should be taken.
  • document Change requests and Functional specifications relating to core Financial processes.
  • Develop Test scenarios, create steps and working with business, execute Functional Acceptance Testing in the objects delivered by the development team.
  • Deliver a robust and well tested solution to for their process area that is integrated with the rest of the template.
  • Deliver Finance setup, process documentation, testing and training in the areas of Direct Debit, Cash Matching, Dunning, Interest Charges, Air BP Global Credit Back, Bank account set up, Master Data Requirements (PC, CC etc.).
  • Execution of testing scenarios and transactional data loads Data analysis, validation, reconciliation, cleansing and conversion.
