Senior Financial Planning Analyst I (COG-2019-039)

Location:
Houston (HOU)

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with the Company's strategic planning, capital markets execution efforts, and merger and acquisition activities
  • Assisting in overall strategic planning and financial forecasting for the Company
  • Providing ongoing analytical support to operations teams
  • Supporting the identification, evaluation and financial modeling of merger and acquisition opportunities in support of the Company's strategic plan
  • Maintaining current knowledge of both debt and equity capital markets
  • Actively managing and executing capital markets transactions
  • Compiling and maintaining data on peer companies
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining a consistent Company profile
  • Contributing to the development and preparation of Company presentation materials
  • Maintaining current knowledge of developments, trends, competitive environment and regulatory changes of the exploration and production industry
  • Serving as a mentor to others, coaching and developing team members


Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting required
  • A minimum of 6 years of E&P corporate finance, investment banking or private equity experience required
