Do you want to lead a team maintaining and operating wind turbines for the world's leading organisation in offshore wind?
Join us and become Operations Manager in our Offshore Operations department where you'll be responsible for leading and ensuring the safety of a shift of wind turbine maintenance technicians maintaining our offshore wind turbines.
Your key tasks will be to
  • ensure the safety of our technicians in a challenging offshore environment
  • be a visible leader enhancing and driving performance
  • participate in continuous improvement of our assets and operations
  • manage budgets and look to reduce the cost of energy
  • develop your people to maximise their contribution to offshore wind.
Your competences include that you
  • served either a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or have, as a minimum, an engineering background, preferably in the offshore wind industry
  • have experience in managing teams of technicians
  • demonstrate an in-depth understanding of HSE requirements in a maritime and engineering environment and are preferably qualified with an NEBOSH certificate
  • are capable of working both offshore and at height
  • are willing to work 7-day and 12-hour shifts.

You'll be expected to travel to Grimsby on a frequent basis and on some occasions to other international locations. You may be asked to take part in an on-call rota. You may on regular occasions be asked to work offshore, where you'll need to pass a fitness test and medical as well as Global Wind Organisation training courses. You'll thus need to be confident with working at height and working in a maritime environment.
