Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company.

Tasks:
Students at ABB are high potential students and developers who strive to create and implement new solutions for industry.

- As part of the operations management group at ABB Corporate Research Center Germany you will work on software demonstrators and prototypes of research projects.
- You will design, develop and test software prototypes for industrial applications in close collaboration with our interdisciplinary project teams.
- We expect that you show above-average motivation to develop demonstrators and prototypes for industrial applications and pro-activeness to come up with new ideas on how to overcome possible challenges.

Requirements:
-You are studying Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related.
- You are in the final phase of your Bachelor/Master education and interested in software development for industrial automation and operations management.
- You are experienced with complex software development projects and worked with object oriented programming languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java)
- Knowledge of object oriented design (UML, Enterprise Architect), software development processes (e.g. SCRUM), distributed control systems, human machine interfaces, data bases and/or historians is of advantage but not mandatory.
- You can communicate fluently in English or German in verbal and written form.
