You may be the person we are looking for!Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Advanced Data Manager for Offshore Site Conditions & Loads (SiCoLAC) reporting to the Head of the respective department within Engineering Offshore in BA Wind.Overall purpose of the role:Data management needs to be covered for all Offshore Wind projects (portfolio) in different development phases (lifecycle) – from early project opportunity assessments over project execution to asset management of running windfarms.The Site Conditions & Loads department is the competence centre for all site characterizing aspects of an offshore wind farm. We are supplying services, technical competences and project management for all site specific aspects all under one roof. We build on continuous improvement and entrepreneurial mind-set in order to develop the optimal solution at the thin line between a standardized windfarm and a project specific solution for future windfarms.Your tasks and responsibilitiesAs Data Manager you will take care of all data-handling, data-management and data governance related aspects on the overarching level, ensuring the four very specialized sub-departments Wind Resource, Met-Ocean, Geoscience & Loads are operating along common data-strategies and -process. Further a common interface towards other parts of the organization, e.g. Systems Engineering, Integrity- and Data-Engineering, needs to be established and maintained.You will be responsible for all overarching data management topics covering the four sub-departments by taking care of subject matters as per below:Coordinating, standardizing and executing data management activities across SiCoLAC including creation and oversight of the SiCoLAC data landscape.Formulate and communicate procedures and methods for data management in SiCoLAC Department; maintaining and refining procedural documentationInterface and first point of contact to IT service providers.Liaising with internal departments such as Integrity and Data Engineering, Analytics, SCADA and Vattenfall Group IT to implement solutions and drive innovation. Aligning with and contributing to wider data management entities within Vattenfall and BA Wind.Seeking opportunities for improved data exploitation, for example via Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data analytics.Your profile as Advanced Data ManagerKnowledge and /or experience in formulating requirements for software applications, working with Cloud Platform Services, such as Microsoft Azure.At least basic programming skills in one of the following programming languages: Python, Matlab, R, SQLYou have experience with site investigations / site assessments in the sub disciplines mentioned above and in the area of data acquisition / data analysis. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:An IT, scientific or engineering degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience within data management. Strong technical and analytical abilities.Experience in coordinating and executing data management projects.Good communication skills and ability to work in a structured and disciplined way.Self-motivated, flexible approach to work and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Good interpersonal skills and innovative mindset, with the courage to act on your conviction.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
