Saudi Aramco are currently seeking an experienced Control System Engineer to join the Terminals Operations Department. This is a key organization within Saudi Aramco production chain as it handles the shipment of crude oil from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the entire globe. The successful candidate will perform control system-related technical tasks for the Terminals Department onshore and offshore sites. These tasks include (1) ensure the technical quality of the produced work, (2) complete the assigned tasks timely, (3) interface with other departments, vendors, subcontractors and third parties, (4) participate in technical meetings and (5) technically support the control functions within the organization.

Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelors' Degree in Engineering.

You should have a minimum of 7 years' experience' working as an expert in Honeywell OM&S application packages including; Task Monitoring Module (TMM), Task Control Module (TCM), and Storage Data Management Module (SDM). The successful candidate will have worked in plants in the oil/gas or petrochemical businesses, and be capable to work/lead with a project team or special assigned group.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills, and be able to write in English and speak it clearly.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to prepare in-house engineering design packages. Review and approve engineering drawings, specifically control and instrumentation drawings such as ILD's, ISS's, and LOG's.

You will provide technical support for distributed control systems (DCS), supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA), enterprise monitoring solution (EMS), emergency shutdown systems, programmable logic controllers, and field instrumentations.

Candidates must be able to interface and integrate new control systems with the existing ones. Perform programming in different control system languages, such as ladder diagram (LD), structured test (ST), function block diagram (FBD), instruction list (IL), and sequential flow chart (SFC). And attend to the following: equipment shutdown investigations, root cause analysis, troubleshooting failures, and compliance review committees.

Other aspects of the job include: identifying opportunities to improve plant efficiency, by introducing new technologies related to tank farms, offshore loading facilities, and pipelines. Lead project execution to upgrade and replace control systems timely and efficiently, and participate in new control system functional specifications, preliminary design review, critical design review, factory acceptance test, site acceptance test, and pre-commissioning activities.
