We are looking for a Process and Data Architecture Lead to join our Domestic Change business on a permanent basis. At this time it is a great opportunity to get involved in a department at the heart of a significant Data Transformation Programme within the Domestic segment of the business and will be expected to be a key member of the Design & Architecture function; leading/driving Process and Data Architecture for all change activity.

Role description Based within Domestic Business Change team you will be providing direction and leadership for all matters relating to data, process, system architecture and design - you will translate business design into an IT solution and will need to achieve all strategic goals, be self-sufficient, proactive and demonstrate a comprehensive detailed understanding of the performance units along with a good appreciation of strategy, capabilities and enabling technologies.

The role will also support the planning of high level change initiatives based on clearly defined outcomes, managing multiple stakeholder needs and relationships with senior stakeholders across performance units in a dynamic environment. The individual will need to build and maintain robust relationships with all parts of the business, to develop a thorough understanding of various business scenarios and drivers. The individual will understand the wider objectives of the portfolio, have credibility in the environment and be able to influence stakeholders effectively.

Location of the role is flexible however you will be expected to travel to other offices on a regular basis

Skills and Experience Excellent knowledge of process and data model development methodology or frameworks

Ideally experience of working in the Gas/Electricity Industry

Ability to form concise and clear arguments in commenting on organisational or system change

Data Modelling (Logical & Physical) experience

Architecture experience predominantly in the Data Architecture space

Development and implementation of best practice methodologies to maintain competitive advantage in data and process management

Understand and be able to manage both technical delivery and analytical insight

Be able to communicate difficult and complex subject areas in easy to understand and accessible language for non-technical audiences
