There isnt a better time to join us as we move into the world of Smart Metering and youll be leading a brand new team to deploy our business plan to ensure Smart meters are delivered to npower Business Solutions customers.

Role description:

Youll be responsible for the succession of our Smart role out plan and ensure it is delivered effectively to our customers under tight time constraints whilst identifying and resolving escalated issues on failures against the plan across the whole of npower Business Solutions. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and to Ofgem on the success of the delivery, or otherwise, against the Smart role out plan.

Youll also:

Weigh up operational delivery of Smart metering against the cost plan.

Determine the eligibility of our customers in relation to if and when we can install Smart meters to their sites.

Ensure exceptions processes can be delivered and will manage the introduction of local working practices or procedures to be able to utilise the Smart meters once installed.

Liaising with different departments and business segments across npower to collaborate and deliver successfully against the plan.

Skills and experience

Youll have:

Proven experience of strategic delivery.

Awareness of the Metering Industry

Commercial understanding to deliver cost effective strategies

Strong influencing and communication skills with a collaborative approach

Proven line management experience

An analytical mind with the ability to work against tight time constraints.

It would be nice if you also had but isnt essential:

Project Management experience or Prince2

Working knowledge of project related methodologies
