The Senior Project Sourcing Leader - EMEA f/m will be accountable for functional, business and broad company objectives. In this role, you will manage and develop a supply base that meets business needs across the organization. These needs include all Onshore Wind project related sourcing activities (Civil and Electrical Balance of Plant, Outbound Transport, Cranes, Construction & Commissioning contractors and site facilities). The overall strategic buy is > $120MM.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Lead the commodity procurement and support related programs to achieve variable cost productivity, deflation targets, cash flow, and controllership goals (e-Auctions, second source development, tooling initiatives)
  • Lead the supplier selection, validation, development, and overall supplier management, including managing the entire contract life cycle from Request for Proposal to supplier exit
  • Support the development of a qualification process for your commodities and ensure any quality issues have the appropriate focus
  • Develop and execute master agreements with 3rd party providers/suppliers to support the Wind business sourcing strategy minimize risk / liability to the business and lock in rates
  • Leverage synergies with Service sourcing to minimize risks and costs
  • Develop process to look upstream for pending requirements and drive Engineering / Product Line /Operations Manufacturing / Sales in order to ensure sourcing given adequate cycle to procure / negotiate
  • Develop technical and market expertise in the commodity areas

    Qualifications/Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university (technical preferred)
    • Significant experience in Project sourcing (Civil and Electrical BOP, Outbound Logistic, Construction & Commissioning contractors, site facilities) including negotiating, identifying opportunities, selecting suppliers, and implementing contracts.
    • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required up to 25% in EMEA
    • Fluency in English written and spoken
