The purpose of this role is to design, develop and manage employee development programs and tools. Priority initiatives would be designing, developing, planning, delivering and evaluating programs that target employees across Jacobs and include the Global Onboarding managing the suite of Corporate Compliance Training programs and sustaining the intranet based employee self-development materials. Overall, this includes reviewing and refreshing the vision, programs and setting implementation strategies that are clearly aligned with evolving business needs.

• Lead the thinking and design of employee development programs and tools to align with company priorities and business drivers

• Collaborate with L&D and the Talent Management COE team members and other stakeholders to refresh the vision, focus, pitch and brand of employee development programs and services.

• Ensure employee development content, tools and programs are founded on world class employee development, instructional design practices and are aligned with the organizational development and culture approach

• Understand business requirements and market environment and reflect / integrate into employee development programs.

• Deep knowledge of adult learning, self-paced instructional design, leadership development, organizational behaviour to ensure organizational impact

• Sound knowledge and understanding of all HR disciplines.

• Manage the overall effectiveness and impact of employee development tools/programs.

• Evolve and maintain comprehensive strategy and planning approach surrounding the global compliance education andengaging senior stakeholders to actively support thecompliance education programs

• Collaborate with the L&D team to ensure strong linkage and alignment between employee development programs and other Global and Regional L&D services and programs.

• Align with the global L&D strategy, framework, best practices and branding, and incorporate strategic drivers e.g., inclusion.

• Practice global / local and cross functional collaboration.

• Consult and collaborate with senior leaders, COE resources, Regional L&D Leads, senior HR Business Partners to ensure strong employee development program implementation.

• Partner successfully to align employee development programs with broader organizational goals

• Refresh, develop and implement employee programs that are relevant, practical and impactful in a global operating environment

• Collaborate with other members of the Global L&OD COE to align with and complement other programs and services

• Define and measure program key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Work with L&D COE team and other stakeholders to obtain feedback and evaluate programs and practice continuous improvement efforts to ensure programs contribute to developing, engaging and retaining employees

• Utilize global L&D technology e.g., Oracle Learner Management System, Jacobs Connect, Virtual learning, E learning etc.

• Utilize global L&D templates and standards for instructional design, facilitator guides, toolkits and other development resource materials

• Practice proactive communication related to employee development programs and procedures and reporting
 Knowledge of L&D, proven experience in the development and implementation of L&D programs and services, L&D policies and procedures, basic knowledge of HR policies and procedures, corporate governance guidelines, compliance and reporting requirements

 Seasoned L&D professional with proven track record across all aspects of the L&D cycle with emphasis on needs determination, consultative design, development, facilitation and evaluation

 Experience implementing organizational wide L&D programs

 Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to design, develop and deliver programs

 Proven success strategizing, developing and implementing new L&D initiatives that span a wide range of delivery mediums ( including coaching, mentoring, e-learning, blended learning, self-paced learning guides, face to face workshops etc.) and driving change

 Technologically savvy.

 Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
