ROLE SYNOPSIS

Sales position for geographical region in North America in the Prepared to Respond (P2R) Services group to offer additive solutions to treat petroleum feedstocks and products to Supply & Trading divisions with the Super-Majors and Independents.

Baker Hughes PREPARED TO RESPOND™ (P2R™) services maximize profit by meeting fuel and crude oil specifications, increasing their value and marketability. These services also minimize risk and assure HSE compliance.

Our 24-hour, 365-day rapid response chemical treatments meet supply and trading challenges with experienced crews, superior additives, and application knowledge. Our built-for-purpose equipment delivers safe, effective fuel treatment anytime, anywhere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Sales responsibility for where the traders and schedulers are headquartered generally in Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, and New York.
  • Manage communication and execution of treatments for customers once service is contracted.
  • Provide customers with updated capabilities in additive treatment of petroleum products for these emergency treatments and fuel upgrade opportunities.
  • Liaise with other areas when treatments occur outside area of responsibility.
  • Maintain relationships with customer base though regular meetings and entertainment
  • Work with P2R Operations Coordinators to execute treatments.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies to penetrate the market / customer-base.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or related business field
  • 5 years' experience in Chemical Sales & Marketing in the Energy Section - Refining, Petrochemical, or Supply & Trading
  • High ability to multi-task
  • High energy individual with superior time management skills

  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Fuel Additives sales experience
  • Technical knowledge of fuel specs and additives

OTHER DETAILS
  • Base Salary, Bonus Structure, and Car Allowance
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Able to travel 25% of time
