I am recruiting for a Sales Manager in Germany on a staff basis. My client provide scientific instruments for numerous industries (oil and gas, chemicals, marine, pharmaceutical) and are going through growth. Due to continued growth and expansion of sales Northern Germany and surrounding areas. The Sales Manager will develop, execute strategies to capture/expand sales according to organization’s short and long term objective. They should have a successful track record of Direct Sales and effectively managing Distribution Sales channels. The Sales Manager will be expected to rapidly and consistently identify and close favourable business opportunities, seizing chances to increase profit and revenue. They role will require this person be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
Degree qualified with 5-10 years’ experience within market segment/industry, Selling experience in B2B environment, Experience managing and working with distributor/representative sales channel and be an Accomplished negotiator. This role requires 75% travel.
Responsibilities: Meet/Exceed assigned quarterly and yearly regional sales target; Execute market and segment growth strategy; Work with/manage representative and distribution channel partners to increase revenue and margin; Provide and maintain opportunity forecasting; Provide customer and channel relationship management; Anticipate and analyses customer and industry segment trends, current and future; Identify new markets; Conduct territory data analysis; Provide competitive intelligence; Provide information and intelligence for new products and solutions. Assist in launches, when needed; Analyses and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
