We are currently looking for a Principal License Renewal Engineer to support a client in the South East. This will be a contract opportunity for 4-6 months with a possibility of extension.

In this role, your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Prepare of Integrated Plant Assessments, including the development of scoping, screening and aging management reviews of systems, structures and components.
• Evaluate and update of time-bound calculations (TLAAs) relative to the extended operating period.
• Prepare of License Renewal Applications (LRA) including FSAR update, Technical Specification changes, and Environmental Report (Part 51) supplement.
• Implement required improvements to support the extended period of operation (PEO).
• Have Significant knowledge of NRC requirements, guidance and expectations regarding License Renewal of nuclear power plants.

As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:

• BS in Engineering
• 10+ years of License Renewal experience in interpreting and applying NRC regulatory requirements and guidance.
• Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.
