Responsibilities
  • Establish and develop technical knowhow in E.ON regarding the wind turbine equipment
  • Define, evaluate, continuously improve and harmonize technical requirements / specifications in close collaboration with the development and operational parts of the business
  • Support the¬†Contracting and Procurement departments in technical negotiations and claim management, e.g. through defining the appropriate criteria and level for Performance guarantees and tender evaluation
  • Perform root cause analysis on failures in wind turbines resulting in improvement and upgrades to optimize E.ON's operating fleet
  • Deliver effective technical solutions on technical failures to all E.ON wind sites
  • Define measures to improve the turbine performance
  • Occasionally inspect wind turbines on specific failure or implementation of designed upgrades
  • Support field teams during commissioning with technical advice
  • Monitor and review wind turbine related risks


Qualifications
  • Bachelor Engineering degree or equivalent education or experience¬†
  • Several years of practical experience with wind turbines, preferred in the areas of operation and maintenance or engineering and design
  • Ability and medical assessments to work at height
  • Additional qualifications and experiences include:
    • Masters in electrical¬† or mechanical engineering preferred
    • Proven to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships
    • Mobile, resilient, team oriented, interdisciplinary interested
    • Proactive and reliable, structured and systematic way of working
  • "Getting things done"-mentality
  • English (business fluent), any other language of EC&R regions of advantage
