RWE npower require a Senior Product And Proposition Manager to join our Commercial and Marketing function. This is a full time role to be based in our Solihull office. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.

Key responsibilities: Evaluating all new product and proposition opportunities and defining the current product portfolio to improve sales and retention

Managing a new product through the full product lifecycle working closely with other commercial teams

Interpreting customer insight and market intelligence alongside working with both external suppliers and internal teams to design and build products to deliver to the customers

Supporting the preparation of concise business cases, proposals and papers to be presented to the board

Design project plans (including key questions, deliverables, milestones, accountabilities)

Supporting to market communications team via input to marketing communication campaigns on product positioning and messaging and be part of the final review/sign off

Ensuring all new products comply with both legal and regulatory requirements

Optimisation of the product portfolio , development, evaluation and implementation of initiatives to improve overall business performance

Work closely with the Pricing team to optimise product profitability

Support Product Management in planning and evaluating service delivery indicators including; pricing, product mix and retention benefits on all products across the portfolio

Effective management of budgets to ensure costs are controlled

Knowledge and Skills: Experienced working in a product, proposition and business development environment

Launched products known for innovation, customer centricity and commercial growth

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills can identify, size and explain a business opportunity

Creative, with strong organisational and project management skills

Academically strong (educated to degree level is desirable)

Background in utilities, financial services or telecoms (desirable but non-essential)

Strong leadership skills, in particular the ability to lead cross function teams and inspire high performance from colleagues
