Position Summary Job Title: Welder Location: Tronox Start Date: 01/06/26 Duration: 6 months HOURS: 38hrs per week Rate: £23.25 std £32.55 p1 £41.84 p2 Worley is currently recruiting for a Welder with pipe and structural experience to join our site team for a fixed term contract. Key aims and objectives: You will be expected to demonstrate a good understanding of SMAW, GMAW, FCAW & GTAW welding process’, equipment and procedures. Internal codings will be required prior to mobilisation. You will be made aware of those procedures at point of onboarding. Other expectations also include: Accountability for the safe and effective execution of the welding activities detailed above in adherence with project specifications, process’ and procedures Demonstrate visible safety leadership by example and communication/interaction with team members Provide information and support to line manager & supervisor Interface with all project trades and disciplines Role Requirements: Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the piping / assembly work scope is completed safely and to a high standard. Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team. Provide timely feedback to supervisor or plant operator of ongoing status or completion of the task. Proactively seek additional tasks where time permits. Sign on to applicable permit to work (PTW) in order to complete work scope on a controlled and safe manner. Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner. Adhere to all applicable company policies, working practices and procedures as communicated by the company from time to time.
