Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to work on a long term contract in San Antonio, TX.
- Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, perform physical checks, and manage inventory systems to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Order Processing:
Receive, process, and fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely delivery to retail locations or clients.
- Logistics Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to track shipments and ensure products reach their destination on time.
- Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain logs, generate reports on progress, inventory, and costs, and prepare invoices and other necessary documents.
- Quality Assurance:
Check and inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met before they are dispatched.
- Problem-Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product supply, quality, or delivery.
