Join us in Talacre, United Kingdom, where you will lead a dedicated team on a project focusing on Decommissioning and Carbon Capture and Storage initiatives. Role Overview
- Supervise a team of 10 quality control supervisors and inspectors across various disciplines including welding, painting, and mechanical.
- Act as the primary contact for all quality control matters within the project, liaising effectively with external entities.
- Support the Project Quality Manager in defining and implementing the Project Quality Control System, including necessary QC plans and procedures in line with the Company Quality Management System (QMS).
- Allocate QC Supervisor functions to different project areas, ensuring effective coordination and communication onsite.
- Verify that all tests, controls, and inspections—both internal and subcontracted—are conducted and documented according to site Quality Control Plans.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is accurately registered to facilitate project completion.
- Gather project QC data for the Project Quality Manager to prepare for Project Quality Management Reviews.
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years in a QC Manager role within Oil & Gas facility projects
- Proven track record managing small to medium-sized QC teams
- Hands-on experience in site-based quality control supervision
Education & Skills:
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of welding procedures and control (essential)
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas facilities and pipeline
- Certification as a Welding Inspector is a plus, but not mandatorya
