Senior Systems Engineer (V&V)

Overview


We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in V&V to deliver high-quality services on rail projects throughout SEQ. You will provide authoritative guidance on best practices in V&V across all stages of the system lifecycle.





Location-          Brisbane, QLD – Relocation package available from within Australia


Duration-           Permanent, full-time


Salary-              $160,000 + Super





Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of V&V plans and strategies
  
• Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures.
  
• Assist in tender production, work-winning / client engagement
  
• Manage traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
  
• Execute validation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
  
• Prepare V&V reports and evidence packages.
  
• Mentor junior staff
  

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar
  
• 6+ years Systems Engineering experience
  
• Knowledge of relevant standards:
  
  
  
  • EN 50126/8/9
    
  • IEC 61508
    
  • ISO 15288
    

  
  
  
  

• Understanding of full Systems Engineering V-Lifecycle / INCOSE handbook standards
  
• Familiar with DOORS / DOORS NG
  
• An understanding of Safety Assurance, Human Factors and RAM is desirable
  
• Australian working rights – Australian , PR or Visa holder
