Job Title: Senior Mechanical Supervisor
Job Purpose
To supervise and oversee mechanical maintenance activities across offshore facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role demands strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, leadership in field maintenance, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance
- Promote and adhere to QLMS processes to minimize SHE incidents.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
- Conduct hazard assessments, JSAs, and LMRA prior to issuing PTWs.
- Maintenance Oversight
- Supervise mechanical maintenance activities at main and remote offshore platforms.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and maintenance procedures.
- Review work notifications and RBWS to ensure proper planning and scheduling.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Investigate equipment faults using P&IDs, technical drawings, BOMs, and data sheets.
- Support restoration of equipment to operational status.
- Documentation & Systems
- Ensure accurate maintenance history is recorded in SAP.
- Close out work orders in compliance with company standards.
- Team Leadership & Communication
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings.
- Promote reporting of near-miss incidents and observations.
- Supervise and coach team members to enhance performance.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Recommend budget inputs for spares and materials.
- Monitor and control section expenditures in line with departmental KPIs.
- Audit & Compliance Follow-Up
- Address outstanding audit, RCFA, CAR, and safety observations.
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Project Participation
- Provide input on field expansion issues.
- Participate in FEED, HAZOPs, RS/FRA, commissioning, and warranty activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
