Senior Buyer

Title: Senior Buyer


Location: Jakarta, Indonesia


Duration: 12 months contract


Work Rights: Open to Indonesian or candidates with full working rights in Indonesia





Key Responsibilities:


• Fulfil strategic inquiry and purchasing activities within time and budget


• Participate in gathering/proposing AML/AVL for the project


• Ensure all necessary information for issuing inquiries is available


• Review purchasing conditions applicable to the project and escalate deviations to the Project Procurement Manager / Lead IP


• Prepare Commercial Bid Tabulations


• Expedite bids and conduct negotiations with vendors


• Prepare purchase order documents and ensure quality standards


• Serve as a technical expert within the purchasing domain where applicable


• Provide expertise in specific procurement areas


• Participate in defining procurement strategies and mitigating risks


• Ensure compliance with relevant management systems: ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 29001, ISO 22301, and ISO 37001


• Promote sound practices related to Quality, HSES, ISMS, BCMS, and ABMS


• Ensure fair, transparent vendor selection with integrity and no conflicts of interest





Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent


• Knowledge of procurement procedures and processes


• Strong listening and negotiation skills


• Knowledge in logistics


• Familiar with local Indonesian requirements such as APDN, P3DN, and SKK Migas PTK 007


• Ability to conduct industry mapping up to 3rd-tier vendors


• Understanding of and ability to calculate & verify vendor’s local content declarations (advantageous)


• Experience in initiating and developing Master Lists


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


• Able to work independently and within a team


• Fluent in English
