We are currently looking for a Safety Data Sheets Coordinator to be based in Paris, working for a leading energy company who continue to grow, focusing on becoming more sustainable.





The chosen individual will be working within the group's marketing and services division, the product safety department, within the Regulatory/Advocacy/Representation Division and will help coordinate the global roll-out of chemical-related regulations, to ensure the Division's compliance with current and future regulations, as well as compliance with inventories.





Role and responsibilities


  • Creating or updating raw materials (and their constituents) as well as chemicals used on site (MP-OSCP) at the request of the business, indexing data relating to the MSDS (classification, composition, etc.) and data specific to the business (Bu name, SAP code, etc.)

  • Identification of the portfolio of MSDSs to be updated according to criteria defined by the business, collection of MSDSs from suppliers, analysis of MSDSs received and feedback of inconsistencies to suppliers and BUs before updating the MSDSs validated by the business in Comply Plus.

  • Validation of Raw Materials / MP-OSCP in Comply Plus: verification of data consistency between the MSDS and the product sheet (GHS classification, composition, physico-chemical properties, toxicological data, etc.).

  • Transfer of raw materials data from the Comply Plus module to the Intelligent Authoring module, and manual addition of certain data

  • Identification of the MSDS portfolio to be archived according to criteria defined by the business, and implementation of MSDS archiving actions

  • Lead periodic meetings with business units and participate in monthly operational committees

  • Conduct periodic meetings with entities involved in MSDS collection.

  • The service provider will work closely with the admin team (3 statutory staff) and may interact with people from the Product Safety department or the Toxicologists team.

  • Internal customers will be the Product Stewardship of the M&S businesses based in France and the regional Product Stewardship (Europe, Asia, Africa and America).






Skills and Qualifications



  • Knowledge of office software

  • Knowledge of chemical regulations (REACH, GHS, CLP)

  • Knowledge of chemistry 

  • Mastery of toxicology and/or ecotoxicology

  • Use of Office 365 workflow
