Role Title: Project Engineering Manager / Site Coordinator
Location: Qatar
Role Overview:
The Project Engineering Manager / Site Coordinator will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for high-voltage (HV) transmission projects. This role ensures technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective site execution across all engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering teams across all HV disciplines, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Conduct and oversee design reviews, technical approvals, and interface coordination between stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant utility standards and regulatory requirements, including documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate daily site supervision activities, ensuring smooth execution across electrical, civil, and mechanical disciplines.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), inspection scheduling, and site progress reporting.
- Monitor and enforce Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in high-voltage transmission projects, including site coordination and engineering management.
- Proven leadership capabilities with strong stakeholder engagement and team coordination skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HV systems, utility standards, and construction site protocols.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
