Role Overview
- Provide timely and accurate data and deliverables for benchmarking and tool building.
- Lead overall project cost, schedule, progress measurement, and change management.
- Support Project Team with cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Develop Project Controls Plan and Management of Change (MOC) Plan.
- Establish and implement the Stewardship process for monthly reviews.
- Coordinate estimating, planning, and cost control activities.
- Maintain Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), Original Control Budget (OCB), Current Control Budget (CCB), and Project Master Schedule.
- Collect, analyze, and report project cost and schedule control information.
- Administer the Management of Change process.
- Facilitate Capital Efficiency opportunities and vulnerabilities.
- Interface with Controllers regarding AFEs/budgets and invoices.
- Participate in bid evaluation and developing Contract Price Budgets.
- Prepare for Gates Reviews and coordinate development of Estimate Confidence Packages.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from the Project Management Team related to Controls/Reporting.
- Support preparation of Close-out Reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Cost Engineering: Expertise in cost control and schedule management.
- Data Visualization: Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with SQL or Python is beneficial.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for data interpretation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities effectively.
- Supervisory Skills: Proven experience in leading teams.
Education & Experience
- Degree: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
- Certifications: certifications in project management (Primavera, PMI, AACE).
- Experience: Significant experience in project controls focused on cost and schedule.
