Location: Grimsby Workshop Duration: Perm Start Date: ASAP Hours: 38hrs per week Rate: £26.63 Worley are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our onshore team based in Grimsby Workshop and various sites Key aims and objectives: You will be expected to fabricate, install, maintain, modify, commission and adapt new and existing piping systems that convey liquids, gasses and other products throughout site. It is also expected that you will have a good mechanical knowledge and also an understanding of the requirements and precautions necessary for working with pipes conveying hazardous or dangerous chemicals and liquids Role Requirements: · Preparation of work pieces using machine tools and hand tools · Working to specifications and tolerances · Modification of pipework using a variety of tools and equipment · Measuring and marking pipework for preparation and threading · Securing pipes to associated bracketry and clamps and clips · Installing pipe systems, supports and related equipment (valves etc) · Clearing pipe systems of obstructions and testing of their functionality · Hydrotesting of pressurised systems · Provide immediate support to workshop and site management, and oversee other working on the site. · Oversee all aspects of Pipe fabrication process’ in accordance with Worley procedures and health and safety legislation. · Deliver content of toolbox talks and safety related material on behalf of the company to work group(s) · Actively participate in management initiatives and offer continual support to management team · Allocate work scopes and job packs All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification: Essential: · Current CCNSG Safety Passport · Proof of apprenticeship (indentures etc) · NVQ 3 or equivalent (SVQ/C&G L3/ACE) Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience: Desirable: · MJI10 Bolting/Jointing · LATS · BA Training · Hydraulic &/or Pneumatic Systems experience · Lockring · IOSH · SMTD Moving forward together We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
