We are currently recruiting for a Pipeline Technologies Project Manager to be based in Paris. This position is offered on a 12-month (extendable) contract and focuses on managing technical, operational, and regulatory aspects of pipeline projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project planning, preparation, and execution activities
- Oversee operations related to welding, NDT, and Field Joint Coating (FJC)
- Manage interdisciplinary project teams and ensure clear communication across stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and client requirements
- Supervise operations readiness and ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct technical oversight and problem-solving throughout project phases
- Interface with internal departments, subcontractors, and engineering specialists
- Support HSE protocols and contribute to risk management strategies
Skills / Qualifications
- Senior Engineer with a background in welding, FJC, NDT, pipeline equipment, or related operational disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in pipeline or energy projects
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory; French is a plus
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and field operations
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with proven problem-solving abilities
- BOSIET certification (OPITO-approved) and valid MFC required prior to assignment start
